Rajiv Bhavsar

VP Lending and Branch Manager, United Central Bank

Rajiv B. Bhavsar is a branch manager and vice president of lending for United Central Bank in Houston, Texas. In this role he manages the process for Small Business Association loans and conventional loans. This includes the accumulation and analysis of client personal and financial data; the creation of financial projections and models; and the initiation of loan underwriting. Additionally, Rajiv has planned successful marketing and advertising strategies, expanding the bank’s customer base through a variety of effective sales techniques and Partnerships.

While amassing over 17 years experience in the banking industry, Rajiv has achieved several honors. He was named the United Central Bank, Texas, 2002 officer of the year and was ranked among the top 10 percent of personal financial representatives in the country.

Rajiv has maintained close community ties. He currently serves as an officer with the India Culture Center, is an active member of both the Indo American and South Asian Chambers of Commerce, and coordinates programs for Gujarati Samaj of Houston. He also has arranged community seminars on securing commercial and small business loans.

Rajiv earned a Master of Science degree in mathematics and statistics from South Gujarat University in Gujarat, India.
